i wonder how long more can i take running this race.it's especially tiring running it alone.felt cheated into it.but well...shall try to make it as good as possible since i decided to take it up...1 more month to see some results.

recess week came n passed.
so did mid-terms.well...screwed up some,not many papers to begin with...haix.it's all about ur capabilities...if u're there,u're there...as long as i think i did myself justice den tt's fine...
oh.on tuesday,i was on my way home when i came across a strange scene.the road directly outside my house was on a road block,with a fire engine,an ambulance and lots of police vehicles on stand-by at the nearby NUS high school carpark.there were army trucks at the construction site opposite my place,at the site where my future home will stand.totally clueless abt wad's happening until a passer-by told me tt they discovered a WWII blind while digging at the construction site.haha.den around 5.30pm, there was a loud explosive noise followed by a small cloud of explosion dust.they detonated the bomb at the site!quite interesting experience to hear a WWII bomb go off,especially with us civilians in the surrounding.haha.to think we have lived with this blind for so many years.lol.
from wad i recall, the site used to be some abandoned houses with a vet clinic.when i was in primary school,our teacher brought us in there to look for samples of vegetation.haha.the houses were taken down quite some time ago and the land was left there until nan hua high sch was built ard 8 years ago n now new hdb flats building in progress.

nightmare Z for Zusammen ended yesterday, well sort of ended.the aftermath is not any much better but at least the worse is over. moral of the story:never attempt something out of ur capabilities.
last week was quite horrible for me, with 3 tutorials to do, one lab report one lab assignment and one graded essay due during the week, zusammen on saturday which meant meetings, phonecalls and more meetings.
finally have time for myself. recess week! need to catch up on school work. seriously lagging behind. plus 3 back-to-back tests after recess week. omg.

probably still in the Chinese New Year mood.haha.totally cant find the motivation to study even though the amount of stuff i should read and do have been piling up.tutorials,assignments and labs...barely 3 weeks into school and i'm starting to not understand the lecturers already.somehow stuff that i read just goes in and comes out the next minute.need to pay more attention!!!
rather tied-down by ChESS and bizcom stuff.i spend about an hour reading and replying mails everyday.haha.handling a project is not as easy as it seems,probably due to the lack of an established team.well...it's always harder the 1st year/1st time something is done.just hope to get it over and done with soon(of cos nicely too!) so i can start focusing on my studies.seriously worried about this semester.

once again it's the chinese new year.haha.where has all the excitement gone to man.seriously.chinese new year is getting less exciting by the years.when u're still a kid,chinese new year is like the second most exciting day of the year,the most exciting being ur birthday.haha.but i realised as one ages,the excitement level depletes by the year.haha.
perhaps it's due to the chores involved before the festival.haha.have been helping out with the house chores lately which tires one out seriously.so,kudos to all mums and maids around slogging the hearts out for the festival.haha.
perhaps it's due to the unfavourable economic condition,with the govt declaring usage of its reserves.
perhaps it's due to tutorials waiting for me on my study desk with piles of lecture notes waiting for me to digest,barely 2 weeks since term started.
perhaps perhaps perhaps.how to indulge myself with the festive spirit?haha.
was chatting with one of my ex-colleagues over msn earlier.she hasn't found work ever since she left the company last april.she's full-time mum to her 2 puppies now.enjoying her life.haha.how many here can actually have the luxury of not working for more than 8 months?lol.sometimes not doing anything is a luxury itself,but definitely not for too long.haha.
well...happy 牛 year to all!!may everyone have a wonderful year ahead!

here comes monday 12th jan '09.time for school again after 1 week of CORS, which is a very screwed up system that nus uses for their students to bid for modules n ballot for tutorials.modules are more or less settled,left with tutorials to ballot.here comes the headache again.need to fit in 2 labs and 2 tutorials to my already very heavy timetable.haix.sometimes i really wonder if i got myself in the wrong course.
